What's Happening
Fishing Tournament (Private for sponsor & families)
A half-day (8am - 12pm) fishing tournament that puts pediatric cancer patients, their families, and our boat sponsors on the water with local captains; a morning of joy, calm, and connection.
Live Music
Live music on the BLC grounds from 1 – 3:30 PM
Food & Drinks
Provided by the Buffalo Launch Club. Beer and wine included with adult admission.
Games on the Ground
Cornhole, tennis courts open, and casual lawn games for all ages. Full lineup coming soon.
Kids Zone
Bounce house, games, crafts, and activities for kids of all ages.
Raffles + Silent Auction
Basket raffle, wine raffle, 50/50, and silent auction. Drawings at 3:30 PM.
About Casting for Courage
Casting for Courage is a Western New York charity fishing event hosted by Anchor Marine each August, bringing together families, sponsors, and volunteers in support of children fighting pediatric cancer.
The morning belongs to the families we support, out on the water with local captains for a private fishing tournament. The afternoon opens to the public for live music, food, raffles, games, and the kind of community gathering that reminds these kids and their families they're not alone.
Every dollar raised goes directly to local organizations doing the work — supporting WNY families through treatment, recovery, and everything in between.

Questions
Is this a family-friendly event?
Yes — the afternoon public event is built for families. Bounce houses, kids zone, games, and activities throughout.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, for ages 5 and up. Kids 4 and under are free.
Can I participate in the morning fishing tournament?
The morning fishing tournament is reserved for sponsors and beneficiary families. To get on the water, become a sponsor
Is the event accessible?
Yes. The Buffalo Launch Club is wheelchair accessible with on-site parking. Reach out at Allie@AnchorMarine.com if you have specific accessibility needs.
What if it rains?
We go on rain or shine. BLC has plenty of covered indoor and outdoor space.
